The Starlet Stakes is an American Thoroughbred horse race for two-year-old fillies run each December. Formerly the Hollywood Starlet Stakes and run at the Hollywood Park Racetrack in Inglewood, California for 33 years, in 2014 the race moved to the Los Alamitos Race Course and currently offers a purse of $300,000.

The Grade I event was raced on dirt until 2006 when the new synthetic Cushion Track was installed at Hollywood Park. Now at Los Alamitos, it is again run on dirt. The Starlet covers the distance of 1 116 miles (8.5 furlongs). (From 1985 though 1990 it was raced at a distance of one mile.)

The Hollywood Starlet Stakes is the final major race of the year for young fillies and is frequented by horses coming out of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies.

In 2003, Hollywood Story became the first maiden to win the Starlet in the history of the event.
