Star Air Aviation is a cargo airline based in Karachi, Pakistan. It operates to many cities in Pakistan including Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar. It is also a large ground handling agent providing facilities to commercial, corporate and private airlines operating to and from Pakistan. Established in 2000 in Pakistan by a few aviation industry veterans, Star Air aviation has now grown into a specialist airline management services provider designing and delivering innovative airline solutions to customers across the globe.

Star Air Aviation (S.A.A.), being a member of IATA Ground Handling Council, provides various aviation services including aircraft for cargo companies and freight forwarders, complete ground handling services for all local and international carriers and scheduled and unscheduled chartered flights. We have our own fleet of aircraft including Boeing 727 for cargo airlift on local and international routes, Dornier 228 and Cessna 402 for international and local passenger chartered flights.

Headquartered in General Aviation Area of Jinnah International Airport, Karachi S.A.A. has site offices at both Lahore and Dubai International Airports. S.A.A. has a team of dedicated and experienced engineers, professionals, pilots, navigators, and airline marketing personnel as illustrated in the following graphical structure.

Star Air Aviation (SAA) was formed from several aviation veterans in July 2000 in Karachi. It became a member of the IATA Ground Handling Council, which allowed the company to expand its facilities to cargo, chartered and private airlines that operated to and from Pakistan. The company also launched its own cargo airline which allowed the company to airlift cargo to several destinations abroad as well as locally.

Star Air Aviation established Academy of Aviation Excellence (AAE) in 2011 to train airline staff. The AAE campuses are located in Karachi and Lahore. Currently AAE is providing the aviation industry with aircraft licensed Engineers (AMEL) courses i.e. EASA B1/B2, with many other commercial courses including ground and traffic handling, dangerous goods regulations, train the trainee, aviation legislation and human traffic.
