St Helens was a constituency in the county of Lancashire, England. It returned one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons of the UK Parliament.
Created by the Redistribution of Seats Act 1885, the constituency was abolished in 1983, being split into North and South divisions.
The constituency was based on the boundaries of St Helens County Borough. It extended narrowly to all sides of the town itself except north-west where it omitted Eccleston.
By the time of its dissolution the seat was recorded as a borough constituency.
