Spring Lake Township is a township in Scott County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 3,681 at the 2000 census.
Spring Lake Township was organized in 1858, and named after Spring Lake.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 32.0 square miles (83.0 km²); 30.3 square miles (78.5 km²) of it is land and 1.8 square miles (4.6 km²) of it (5.49%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 3,681 people, 1,217 households, and 1,023 families residing in the township. The population density was 121.5 people per square mile (46.9/km²). There were 1,254 housing units at an average density of 41.4/sq mi (16.0/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 98.23% White, 0.30% African American, 0.33% Native American, 0.35% Asian, 0.14% Pacific Islander, 0.05% from other races, and 0.60% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.60% of the population.
There were 1,217 households out of which 43.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 78.0% were married couples living together, 3.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 15.9% were non-families. 11.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 3.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.02 and the average family size was 3.29.
