MTV Splitsvilla is an Indian television reality show that airs on MTV India.The show is presented by Rannvijay Singh and Sunny Leone.The series is loosely based on the American dating reality show Flavor of Love.

The reality show revolves around young boys and girls trying to secure a place in "Splitsvilla", a villa. It is a "hunt for love" show where boys and girls compete in tasks to stay in the competition and mingle with the contestants to find love. In the end, one boy and one girl are crowned the winners of Splitsvilla, as a couple. There are a lot of fights, jealousy, hatred, friendship, backstabbing, and love when all these wild contestants get together. There are also a King and Queen who have dumping powers.

The season was hosted by VJ Rannvijay Singh, of MTV Roadies Season 1. In this season, two boys, Varun Saini, a former participant of MTV Roadies 5 and Vishal Karwal, of MTV Roadies 4, find their ultimate girl of their dreams by choosing from 20 girls by putting them through grueling tests. The girls battle stress, politics, exhaustion, fear, bitchiness and other such emotional challenges to be the chosen one and avoid humiliation of getting dumped. The girl who is dumped leaves the show. In this manner, a winner is selected.

Of the final three (Shraddha, Heena and Prianca), Shraddha emerged as the winner and became the queen of Splitsvilla. Shraddha then goes on to choose Vishal. However, the decision wasn't finally Shraddha's. Vishal, the champion was challenged by Varun, the challenger. They had to fight over three contests; the winner of two out of the three was to be declared the ultimate winner. Vishal came out a clear winner by winning the first two in which the first victory saw Vishal beating Varun in Varun's territory.
