"Someone Who's Cool" is the first single released by the Canadian rock band Odds from their fourth album, Nest. The song was originally written for the Friends soundtrack. The song was very successful in Canada, peaking at #2 on Canada's Singles Chart. It remains to be the band's highest charting single and one of the band's most popular songs. The song was also used as the theme song to the short-lived CBS music industry comedy Love Monkey.
The song's music video was directed by Curtis Wehrfritz. The video was nominated for "Best Video" at the 1997 Juno Awards.
