Solana is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Charlotte County, Florida, United States. The population was 742 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Punta Gorda Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Solana is located on the eastern edge of Punta Gorda at 26°56′25″N 82°1′46″W / 26.94028°N 82.02944°W / 26.94028; -82.02944 (26.940277, -82.029368). It is bordered to the east by Interstate 75, with access from Exit 164 (U.S. Route 17). Via I-75 it is 26 miles (42 km) south to the Fort Myers area and 30 miles (48 km) northwest to the outskirts of Venice.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the Solana CDP has a total area of 1.7 square miles (4.3 km2), of which 1.5 square miles (4.0 km2) is land and 0.12 square miles (0.3 km2), or 7.13%, is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1,011 people, 459 households, and 267 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 590.3 people per square mile (228.3/km²). There were 563 housing units at an average density of 328.7/sq mi (127.1/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 91.69% White, 5.44% African American, 0.20% Native American, 1.09% Asian, 0.49% from other races, and 1.09% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.37% of the population.
