The Slovenia national men's volleyball team is the national volleyball team from Slovenia, controlled by the Volleyball Federation of Slovenia, which represents the country in international competitions and friendly matches. Slovenia is the current runner-up in European Championship 2015 and is ranked 30th (as of August 2016) in the FIVB world ranking.
In March 2015, Italian Andrea Giani was announced as a new head coach of Slovenian national team.
On 18 September 2015 Slovenia achieved their first medal at the European Championships. Slovenian national team lost in the final against France (3–0) and achieved silver medal in Arena Armeec, Bulgaria. One of the Slovenian players, Tine Urnaut, received an individual award for the Best Outside Spiker. Because of historic result at this championships, Slovenia improved their position in FIVB world ranking from 39th to 25th place.
On 26 January 2017, Giani resigned as a head coach of the team.
