Skye Deva Bennett (born 2 May 1995) is an Anglo-American actress, best known for her role as Sarah in the 2008 film Dark Floors, as well as for her role as Martha in The Pillars of the Earth.
Bennett was born in London, England to American parents and moved to Berkshire before her first birthday. She began learning to figure skate at age four and skated competitively until her acting career made it impossible to continue training. Skye attended the prestigious Jackie Palmer Stage School from 2004-14. She is a lifelong vegetarian and has a rescue dog and two rescue cats.
Skye Bennett began acting at the age 10 in Shadow Man, a 2006 Steven Seagal film. She has since then appeared in The Good Night, Boy A, It's Alive, Dark Floors and Against the Dark.
Bennett appeared as Mina in the film adaptation of David Almond's Carnegie Medal- and Whitbread Children's Award-winning book Skellig, which was released in the UK in 2009. She has numerous other television and radio performances, including Holby City, the 2007 television film Ballet Shoes, Doctors and as the mysterious, tarot card reading little girl in series two of Torchwood. She appeared as young Martha in the TV adaptation of Ken Follett's historical novel, The Pillars of the Earth. She made a guest appearance in Friday Night Dinner as Jonny's American wife, Lisa.
