Sithu Aye (born 26 June 1990) is a solo project guitarist based in Glasgow, Scotland. He started his musical career with the release of his first album Cassini in 2011. He has released 3 full length albums and 5 EPs to date. His latest album 'Senpai EP II: The Noticing' was released May 9, 2017. He has toured with artists such as Reflections, Protest The Hero and Cyclamen.

As an instrumental project, Sithu Aye's styles include extended use of poly-rhythmic riffs and grooves, and a lot of solos. His style can be described as a Djent or Progressive Metal with a Jazz Fusion flavor. His latest album "Set Course For Andromeda" features guest guitar solos by Plini, David Maxim Micić, Jake Howsam Lowe (The Helix Nebula), Stephen Taranto (The Helix Nebula), Aaron Marshall (Intervals) and Mark Holcomb (Periphery).

He uses a Fractal Audio Axe-FX II and a Fractal MFC-101 MIDI controller to change patches. He also currently uses Regius by Mayones Guitars & Basses.

Whilst studying for a Masters Degree in Physics at the University of St Andrews, Sithu Aye was a member of the University's Shinty First Team. Sithu, referred to as Cottage by his closest friends in his uni days, was a major contributor to the team's success. Cottage was the lead goal scorer for the 2011-2012 season and to this date holds the second fastest boat race time in the club's history of 1.98 seconds.
