Sirf Tum (English: Only You) is a Bollywood film directed by Agathian. It was released on 11 June 1999. The film features Sanjay Kapoor, Priya Gill, Sushmita Sen , Simran Bagga and Jackie Shroff. It is a remake of the National award winning Tamil film Kadhal Kottai, which starred Ajith Kumar and Devayani in lead roles. The movie was filmed in Nanital, Kerala and Houston. It was also remade in Dhaka-Kolkata as Hothat Brishti directed by Basu Chatterjee in 1999 starring Ferdous Ahmed and Priyanka Trivedi.
Do-gooder Deepak Rai (Sanjay Kapoor) comes across a stolen purse that contains education certificates belonging to a woman named Aarti. He mails them to her and they start a correspondence. Even though they have never seen each other, both feel an attraction. Aarti's sister and brother-in-law Nirmal (Tej Sapru) are encouraging to a certain extent. While Nirmal would prefer that Aarti marry Prem (Salman Khan), his wife wants Aarti to choose her own life partner. Aarti starts out on her journey to locate and meet Deepak. But how is Aarti to find someone, whom she has never seen, nor spoken to, nor know his whereabouts, in a big city like Delhi? And then there is Neha (Sushmita Sen), who is Deepak's boss, but has some plans of her own for Deepak that do not involve Aarti at all.
