Sinclair Beecham

Sinclair Beecham MBE acquired the Pret a Manger brand and re-opened the popular sandwich shop with college friend Julian Metcalfe in 1986. The pair went on to expand the brand across the world.

Beecham was educated at Lancing College and the Polytechnic of Central London, where he studied Property Law and first met his later business partner, Julian Metcalfe.

Beecham set up Quest Hotels in 2004 to open a limited-service budget luxury hotel in Shoreditch, London in March 2006.
