Simon Christopher Joseph Fraser, 16th Lord Lovat and 18th Baron Lovat (born 13 February 1977) has been the chief of Clan Fraser of Lovat since the death of his grandfather in 1995. He works in the finance industry and has written two short story collections.

While legally being 16th Lord Lovat, he is commonly referred to as the 18th Lord, and also as the 25th MacShimidh (Gaelic: "son of Simon"), the traditional title of the Chiefs of Clan Fraser. Lord Simon Fraser is a faithful Roman Catholic as were his ancestors.

Lord Lovat is the son of Simon Fraser, Master of Lovat and his wife, Virginia (née Grose). He is the grandson of the 15th Lord Lovat. He has two older sisters, Violet (b. 1972) and Honor (b. 1973) and one younger brother, Jack (b. 1984). Honor Fraser is a former fashion model.

Lovat attended Harrow School, and graduated from the University of Edinburgh. He works as a fund manager for Carmagniac in London and Paris and holidays at his home in Scotland. He voiced his determination to buy back his family's estate and ancestral home, Beaufort Castle.

Lovat recently is known for reading his two collections of short stories Memories of a Weasel and A Kilt with a Beak at Port Eliot Festival 2009 Literary Festival in Cornwall.

Lord Lovat is engaged in early 2016 to The Honourable Petra Palumbo, daughter of Peter Palumbo, Baron Palumbo and his wife Hayat Morowa, daughter of the Lebanese newspaper publisher Kamel Morowa.
