Signs is a 2008 short film, created for Schweppes, directed by Patrick Hughes.
This 12 minute silent film is about a boy and a girl who communicate between buildings using written signs - and eventually they meet.
YouTube fans of the film began commenting on the similarities to the Disney film Paperman but any similarity was dismissed by Hughes.
The short film caught the eye of Sylvester Stallone, who hired Hughes to direct The Expendables 3.
