Shubha is an Indian film actress who acted prominently in Malayalam films. She was a lead actress during the late 1970s and early 1980s. She acted in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi films.

She is born to Telugu film actor and director Vedantam Raghavaiah and Suryaprabha who was also an actress at Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, India. She has 5 sisters and a brother. Her aunt Pushpavalli was also a Telugu actress who was married to Gemini Ganeshan. Shubha's cousin Rekha is an actress in Hindi movies.
