The Shreveport-Bossier City Metropolitan Statistical Area is a metropolitan area in northwestern Louisiana that covers four parishes: Caddo, Bossier, Webster, and De Soto. As of the 2010 census, the MSA had a population of 439,000 (though a July 1, 2012 estimate placed the population at 447,000).
