Shinglehouse is a borough in Potter County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,250 at the 2000 census.
The community was named for a landmark shingled inn near the original town site.

The racial makeup of the borough was 98.24% White, 0.16% Native American, 0.08% Asian, 0.32% from other races, and 1.20% from two or more races.
