Shawn Terry Cox (born December 26, 1974) is a boxer from Barbados best known for participating in the 2000 Olympics and for winning gold 2002 and silver at the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games at light heavyweight.

1.84/6'0' southpaw Cox competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney but ran right into one of the favorites in Frenchman John Dovi and lost 10:14. He also represented Barbados at the Commonwealth Games in 1998, 2002 and 2006 and at the Pan American Games in 1999, 2003 and 2007.

He won the 2002 Caribbean Games defeating Ramiro Reducindo (15:14), benefitting from the absence of Cuban boxers. At the 2006 Central American Games he reached the final where he lost to Cuba's Yusiel Napoles.

He turned pro as a cruiser at the advanced age of 32. Showing big power he beat 16 of his first 17 opponents, the loss was on points to an undefeated Italian. Then he even KOd ex champ Wayne Braithwaite in round 1. After this career best win, however, he fell to his vulnerable chin and age and lost four of his next five bouts within the first three rounds.
