Maulana Shamsul Haque Faridpuri (Bengali: শামসুল হক ফরিদপুরী; 1896 – 21 January 1969) was an Islamic scholar, educationist, and social reformer. He was the founder-principal of Jamia Qurania Arabia Qaumi Madrasa. He founded many other madrasas and mosques. He also founded Khademul Islam Jamat to implement Islamic ideals and Anjuman-e-Tabligh-al-Quran to counter Christian missionary activities.
Faridpuri was born in 1896 in Tungipara, Bengal Presidency, British India (now in Bangladesh). His father's name was Muhammad Abdullah and mother's name was Amena Khatun. Faridpuri matriculated from Calcutta Madrasa in 1920. He received the knowledge of Tasawwof from Allama Thanvi.
He wrote and translated more than a hundred books on many subjects.
