Shahid Masood Khan (Urdu: شاہد مسعود خان‎), is a Pakistani journalist, doctor, and a political analyst who currently guests a talk show Live with Dr. Shahid Masood on BOL Network.

Previously he served as Group executive director of GEO News and President of ARY Digital Network. In 2008, he was briefly appointed as the managing director and chairman of Pakistan Television Corporation and also served as the special assistant to then Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gillani with the status of a minister of state in the Gillani ministry.

In an interview to Arab News, Khan says that his father was a civil engineer in Saudi Arabia and he worked there for 15 years while, his mother is a teacher. According to him, he spent his childhood in Taif and Riyadh. For seven years, he went to the Pakistan International School in Riyadh. Two of his younger brothers were born in Saudi Arabia so the country is close to him.

Khan received fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons, U.K. He is a medical doctor by profession.

Khan did his major in International Relations and Defence Studies from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.

Khan served as senior Executive Director of ARY Digital Network, and since 2001 he was hosting TV show Views on News. He was also the chief of the ARY One World (now known as ARY News).

In 2005, Khan received scholarship from CNN and carried out coverage of three wars including Afghanistan, Iraq and Lebanon.

In 2007, Khan joined Geo TV as its Group Executive Director where he hosted the TV show Meray Mutabaq.

In June 2008, Khan was appointed as the Chairman of Pakistan Television Corporation with the additional charge of Managing Director at PTV on a two year contract. However in November 2008 he resigned from the post chairman and managing director.
