The Shadow Minister for Diverse Communities (previously Shadow Minister for Black and Minority Ethnic Communities) is a position in the United Kingdom's Shadow Cabinet that was created on 7 October 2016 by the Leader of the Opposition, Jeremy Corbyn during a cabinet reshuffle. The office has only been held by Dawn Butler, and has no counterpart in Her Majesty's Government.
Due to Dawn Butler's resignation as Shadow Minister in February 2017 the position became vacant. She was re-appointed to the position on 14 June 2017.
