Sergio Albeverio (born 17 January 1939) is a Swiss mathematician working in the field of differential equations and mathematical physics.
He studied at the ETH Zurich where he also did his PhD in 1967 under the direction of Res Jost (and Markus Fierz). Since 1997 he is professor at the University of Bonn.
1992 he received the Max-Planck-Award in mathematics.
