Serge Halimi

Serge Halimi (August 2, 1955) is a journalist working at Le Monde diplomatique since 1992. In March 2008 he became the editorial director. He is also the author of Le Grand Bond en Arrière.

Serge Halimi was elected editorial director of Le Monde diplomatique on December 17, 2007. He assumed the position on March 1, 2008, replacing Ignacio Ramonet. Before that, he served as a journalist at the newspaper.
