Serafim Batzoglou is a professor of computer science at Stanford University. His lab focuses on computational genomics with special interest in developing algorithms, machine learning methods, and systems for the analysis of large scale genomic data. He has also been involved with the Human Genome Project and ENCODE.
He obtained his PhD from MIT in 2000.
