The Senate Liberal Caucus or Senate Independent Liberal Caucus is a parliamentary grouping in the Canadian Senate made up of Independent Liberal Senators. While the Senators are individually members of the Liberal Party of Canada and were appointed by previous Liberal Prime Ministers the caucus is not affiliated to or recognized by the Liberal Party of Canada. Senate Liberals were part of the parliamentary Liberal Party caucus until January 2014 when party leader Justin Trudeau expelled all Senators from the caucus with the purpose of their becoming independent Senators acting independently of the Liberal Party of Canada and Liberal MPs in the Canadian House of Commons. Accordingly, when the Liberal Party formed the government following the 2015 federal election, the Senate Liberals did not become the government caucus in the Senate, contrary to previous practice.

However, after being expelled from the Liberal Party caucus in 2014, Liberal senators chose to keep the designation "Liberal" and sit together as a caucus, albeit one not supported by the Liberal Party of Canada. This independent group still refers to itself in publications as the Senate Liberal Caucus though it is often referred to as the Independent Liberal Senate Caucus in order to avoid confusion with the formal Liberal Caucus made up of members of the House of Commons. Unlike previous practice in which the Liberal Senate Leaders was appointed by the leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, the leader of the Senate Liberal Caucus is elected by Liberal Senators. Since 2014, several Senators have left the caucus and redesignated themselves as non-affiliated Senators.
