Selina Hossain (born 14 June 1947) is a Bangladeshi novelist. She received SAARC Literary Award in 2015 for her contribution to South Asian literature. She is currently the Chairman of Bangladesh Shishu Academy.

Hossain earned MA degree in Bengali language and literature from Rajshahi University in 1968.

Hossain is an editor. She founded Fareea Lara Foundation, which works to improve the lives of impoverished people of Bangladesh.
