Seetha is an Indian film actress, television actress, and a producer known for her works predominantly in Tamil, Telugu cinema and Malayalam film and a few Kannada films. She began her acting career in 1985 and was one of the mainstream heroines from 1985 to 1990. She made a comeback to film industry with the 2002 film Maaran. She won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Character Artiste (Female) for the film Rightaa Thappaa in 2004.
She was born to Tamil actor Mohan Babu and Chandravathi in 1964 and has two brothers Pandu and Dushyanth.Seetha fell in love with actor Parthiban and got married in 1990 and the couple have two daughters P. S. Abhinaya and P. S. Keerthana and an adopted son P. S. Raakhi.
Seetha divorced Parthiban in 2001 for difference in opinion. She got married to Tv actor Satish in 2010. The couple got seperated in 2016.
