Second Division or D2 (Icelandic: 2. deild karla) is the third tier basketball competition among clubs in Iceland. It is organized by the Icelandic Basketball Federation (Icelandic: Körfuknattleikssamband Íslands – KKÍ). It consists of 10 teams and the season consists of a home-and-away schedule of 18 games. The top four teams meet in a playoff for the victory in the Second Division. The two finalists achieve promotion to Division I (Icelandic: 1. deild karla).
