Sean Mullin (born January 13, 1975), is an American film director, screenwriter and film producer.
Mullin holds a B.S. from United States Military Academy at West Point and an MFA in film-making from Columbia University.
Prior to beginning his career as a film-maker, Mullin served as a U.S. Army Officer on active duty in Germany. He finished his service commitment as a Captain in the New York Army National Guard, where he worked as the Officer in Charge of the soldiers stationed at Ground Zero as a first responder to the attacks of September 11, 2001. While living in Manhattan, Mullin performed stand-up comedy regularly and studied improv at New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theater.
Several of Mullin's films have won awards. These include "Sadiq", "Man is a Bridge", and "The 14th Morning". They have also played at numerous film festivals around the world. His MFA thesis film "Sadiq" was a finalist for the "Student Filmmaker Award" at the 2006 MTV Movie Awards.
Mullin has been hired to write screenplays for Academy Award Nominated Director Henry-Alex Rubin (Murderball), as well as for singer Britney Spears.
In 2012, he produced the feature film "Allegiance", starring Seth Gabel, Pablo Schreiber, Bow Wow and Aidan Quinn.
