The Scottish Sports Hall of Fame is the national sports hall of fame in Scotland, set up in 2002. It is a joint project organised by sportscotland, the national governmental body for Scottish sport, and National Museums Scotland. It is also funded by BBC Scotland and donations from the general public. The founding patrons were Anne, Princess Royal, a notable supporter of the Scotland national rugby union team; First Minister Jack McConnell; and Formula One legend Jackie Stewart.
