The next state elections will be held in Schleswig-Holstein on 7 May 2017. All 69 seats in the Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein will be contested. Going into the election, Torsten Albig as Minister-President leads a coalition consisting of his Social Democratic Party (SPD) along with the Greens and South Schleswig Voters' Association (SSW).
