Dr. Satish Sikha (born 12 August 1971) is an Indian-born Canadian fashion designer, particularly noted for his Haute Couture designs [1][2] In the year 2007, he left fashion designing and started a campaign against Global Warming. On 8 April 2014, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Eco Asia University, Mongolia for his Environmental Services for mankind. His Couture Designs were selected by Canada's high-end department stores Holt Renfrew, often compared to Barneys and Saks Fifth Avenue in the United States. He is the founder of Healthy Kids Happy Kids Foundation, a nonprofit NGO based in Hyderabad, India.

Dr. Sikha started his campaign against global warming in 2007. He started collecting messages of support for the environment on an eco-friendly silk cloth (one yard for each message) from several dignitaries and celebrities. The silk cloth finally became 1.2 kilometers long with messages from approximately 1,263 people which included politicians, film personalities, professors, artists, scientists, musicians, and media personnel. The celebrities who supported his cause include Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan, Indian actor Abhishek Bachchan, Indian film actress Kangana Ranaut, Indian cricket player Kapil Dev, former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, Indian politician N. Chandrababu Naidu, Indian businessman Ramoji Rao, Indian ad maker Alyque Padamsee and many others. First Showcase of the eco hand woven green silk fabric was on Arctic Ocean North Pole.[3][4][5][6][7] File:Green Silk Ribbon.jpg
