Santosh Sahukhala (Nepali: सन्तोष साहुखल) (born 10 January 1988) is a Nepali international football player.
Coming from a family which enjoyed soccer, nobody raised any eyebrows when he chose football over other sports as a child and the Madhyapur Football Club, which is near his house made it easier for him to spend hours horning his skills. His elder brother Bal Gopal Sahukhala is also a professional footballer.He started playing football as early as eight years old and competed in many a school-level tournament representing his school. In fact, he had started out as a defender before his coach at Madhyapur football club changed his position.
In 2003, he signed for Three Star Club. he spent 4 years in this club
He had good spell with return to Matyr's Memorial A Division League becoming the top scorer with 19 goals.
He signed for Manang Marsyangdi Club, making him the highest paid Nepali footballer at the time of his signing.
In 2011, Sahukhala went on trial for Sriwijaya FC, in Indonesia.
In 2014, Sahukhala went on trial for Gainare Tottori, in the Japanese third division.
He is the main striker for the Nepal's National Team.
The coach Graham Roberts had dropped him from the national team for the qualifies against Timor Leste. He was not present for practice despite calls. He had also violated the team norms during the AFC Challenge Cup, but we had escaped action from the coach.
Santosh was picked for the next round of qualification against Jordan and he provided an assist for the home leg equalizer.
He is generally deployed as the main striker.
