Sanjay Mitra is an Indian film actor in Malayalam cinema and television. He has also acted in few Hindi and Telugu films. He made his debut in Vaishali along with Suparna Anand who later became his partner. The film was a big success. Later he has done another Malayalam film Poonilamazha which met only lukewarm response. His Telugu film Hrudayanjali had a delayed release in 2002, and the film received critical acclaim.
