Maria Popescu (born March 26, 1978), better known by her stage name Sandra Romain, is a Romanian pornographic actress.
Romain grew up in Vermeș, Caraș-Severin County, Romania. She was raised Baptist.
Romain was working as a florist when her boss suggested she pose in nude magazines. She was discovered by the Floyd Agency, an adult industry talent agency, while working for a tourist magazine in 2001. In August 2005, she moved to the United States. That same year, she signed with the agency LA Direct Models. She took a four-year hiatus from performing and returned to the adult industry in 2011.
On May 10, 2012, she appeared on Kanal D to discuss her adult film career. That same year, she appeared in the music video for the song "Turbofin" by Grasu XXL.
