Sam R. Lloyd III (September 8, 1925 – March 24, 2017) was an American actor who was the father of actor Sam Lloyd and brother of Christopher Lloyd.

Samuel R. Lloyd III was born on September 8, 1925 in Stamford, Connecticut the son of Samuel R. Lloyd Jr. and Ruth Lloyd he was the brother of actor Christopher Lloyd.

Lloyd began his career as an actor in 1993 in the film Where the Rivers Flow North where he played the Judge he also appeared in The Spitfire Grill as Meeshack Boggs his final fit was in 2004 in the film Bereft (film) as an old man.

On March 24, 2017 Lloyd died at the age of 91.
