Society for the Protection of Unborn Children (SPUC) is a pro-life advocacy organisation in the United Kingdom which opposes abortion, assisted suicide and abortifacient birth control. They also take a stance against same-sex marriage.
In 2008, it paid tribute to Cardinal Alfonso López Trujillo, president of the Pontifical Council for the Family, on the occasion of the cardinal's death.
SPUC opposed locked-in syndrome sufferer Tony Nicklinson's legal battle for a right to assisted death.
