The São Vicente Island or Regional Second Division is a tier-3 regional championship played in the island of São Vicente, Cape Verde. The tournament is organized by the Santiago South Zone Football Association. The winner of the championship plays in São Vicente Premier Division in the following season. The runner up plays with a club in the last two positions of the Premier Division to decide on promoting or remain in the Second Division. Up to around 2010, only the first placed club was promoted into the Premier Division.
After six clubs including Calhau, Corinthians, Farense, Ponta d'Pom, Salamansa and São Pedro became registered in 2007, the regional Second Division was introduced and after Santiago Island League South or Fogo, it would be the next league to have a second division in 2008. Once the clubs were only around Mindelo and was the remaining one in Cape Verde, a few clubs were added and are based in other parts of the island including Calhau in the east, Salamansa in the north and São Pedro in the southwest..
As of 2016, Calhau and Corinthians are the only clubs who appeared only in the division.
