Rybí (could be loosely translated to English as "belonging to fish") is a small village in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. The first written record about this village was found in the year of 1411. The village was formerly known as Rybnik (German: Reimlich). Rybi is located about 5 km to the east of Nový Jičín city and about 6 km to the west of Kopřivnice. The village is geographically surrounded by three hills - from the south side by the 'Puntík' (with its top at 500m AMSL) and the 'Holivák' hill (483m) and from the north by the 'Libhošťská hůrka' (with altitude 493m). In 2007 the village has had around 1,100 inhabitants.

Due to great geographical location of the village with its surrounding hills and many forests, the Rybi is, especially in the summer, very suitable for hiking or mountain-biking. There are lots of adjusted pathways and bike paths around the entire village. The adjacent forests are full of routes and tracks created by people, caused by logging or natural gas mining. Very popular sport in winter time is skiing. The village has two platter ski lifts, one 200m and second 450m long. With so many straight and large meadows located on the top of the hills the place is also suitable for cross-country skiing.

There are no accommodation services in this area.

The connection from and to nearly cities Nový Jičín and Kopřivnice is provided by local bus transport.
