Ross Oakes (born 1996) is a professional rugby league player who is currently contracted to the Bradford Bulls of the RFL Championship. He is a product of the Bradford Bulls Academy and signed his first professional contract in October 2015. Ross previously played for local amateur side Drighlington ARLFC.
2016 - 2016 Season
Oakes did not feature in any of the pre season friendlies.
He featured in Round 10 (Dewsbury Rams) then in Round 17 (Workington Town). Oakes then played in the Championship Shield in Game 6 (Workington Town) to the Final (Sheffield Eagles). He scored against Workington Town (1 try) and Sheffield Eagles (3 tries).
2017 - 2017 Season
Oakes featured in the pre-season friendlies against Huddersfield Giants and Keighley Cougars. He scored against Huddersfield Giants (1 try) and Keighley Cougars (1 try).
Ross featured in Round 1 (Hull Kingston Rovers) to Round 10 (Halifax RLFC). Oakes also played in the 2017 Challenge Cup in Round 4 (Featherstone Rovers). He scored against Hull Kingston Rovers (1 try), Swinton Lions (1 try), Toulouse Olympique (1 try), Batley Bulldogs (2 tries), Dewsbury Rams (1 try) and Sheffield Eagles (1 try).
