The Roseville Public Library was established in 1936 in one room of the Municipal Building of Roseville in Macomb County, Michigan, approximately 4.5 miles from Detroit. The library moved to its own building in the 1960s and into the newly constructed civic center in 1974. It currently circulates approximately 250,000 items annually.

This mid-sized suburban class IV library belongs to the Suburban Library Cooperative. It offers Internet access, access to databases, print materials, audiovisual materials and various programs. The library hosts the Friends of the Roseville Public Library, an active non-profit group that encourages library use and raises funds for programs and special collections among other things. The Roseville Historical and Genealogical Society is active in the library, providing programs of interest to local historians and genealogists and raising funds for materials. The library offers summer reading programs for adults, teens and children. Its programs for teens include an anime club, teen advisory board, movie nights and game nights.
