Rosemary Anne DiCarlo is an American diplomat who served as acting United States Ambassador to the United Nations following the resignation of Susan Rice to become the National Security Advisor. DiCarlo is a career member of the foreign service and has held overseas assignments in U.S. Embassies in Moscow and Oslo.
In July 2013, DiCarlo was the President of the UN Security Council.
Following her career in government, DiCarlo has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the nonprofit National Committee on American Foreign Policy. She took up this role in August 2015.
