The Roscommon Senior Football Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition between the top Gaelic football clubs in County Roscommon. The winners of the Roscommon Championship receive the Fahey Cup and qualify to represent their county in the Connacht Senior Club Football Championship, the winner of which progresses to the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. The 2016 Championship was won by St. Brigid's who defeated Pádraig Pearse's by a scoreline of 2-14 to 2-07. Thirteen Roscommon senior champions have gone on to win the Connacht title, but no Roscommon team had ever won the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship until 2013 when St Brigid's finally broke the Roscommon All-Ireland club duck.
