Rodney Scott Webb (June 21, 1935 – August 9, 2009) was an American federal judge.

Webb was born in Cavalier, North Dakota. He earned a B.S. from the University of North Dakota in 1957 and a J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1959. He had a private practice in Grafton, North Dakota from 1959 to 1981.

Webb served as:

Webb was a member of the United States Attorney General’s Advisory Committee of United States Attorneys and member of the Indian Affairs Subcommittee. He retired from the North Dakota Army National Guard J.A.G. Corps with the rank of colonel.

Webb was nominated on May 5, 1987, by President Ronald Reagan to the United States District Court for the District of North Dakota, succeeding Paul Benson. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on December 19, 1987, and received his commission on December 21, 1987. He served as chief judge from 1993 to 2001. He assumed senior status on December 31, 2001.

His son, Wade, is a state district judge in Fargo, North Dakota. Wade Webb was sworn into office by his father in 2003.

Judge Webb died in Fargo on Sunday, August 9, 2009, aged 74, from complications of cancer.
