Rockfish is a census-designated place (CDP) in Hoke County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 2,353 at the 2000 census.

Puppy Creek Plantation was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Rockfish is located at 34°59′28″N 79°4′0″W / 34.99111°N 79.06667°W / 34.99111; -79.06667 (34.991167, -79.066654).
