Robert Latané Montague (May 23, 1819 – March 2, 1880) was a prominent Virginia politician who served in the Confederate States Congress during the American Civil War.

Montague was born in Middlesex County, Virginia. He was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates in 1850 and 1872. He served as the fourth Lieutenant Governor of Virginia from 1860 to 1864 and represented the state in the Second Confederate Congress from 1864 to 1865.

Montague was the great-uncle of Wallis Warfield Simpson, the Duchess of Windsor.
