Robert E. Lee High School is a public high school in Staunton, Virginia, United States.
Robert E. Lee High School was formerly housed in a building located at 274 Churchville Avenue. The original section of the school was built in 1926, with flanking wings added in 1954. The original Colonial Revival style two-story brick central block is topped by a slate hipped roof with a cupola in the center and strongly detailed pediments facing the street. In 1983, a new Lee High School was opened on North Coalter Street; the former John Lewis Junior High was converted into the new high school so the original school closed at that time. It subsequently housed a summer school for school-aged Spanish nationals to learn English, a parochial school operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Richmond, and has most recently been renovated into senior apartments.
The original school was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.
