Robert Church Jr.

Robert Reed Church Jr. (1885 –1952) was a prominent businessman and political organizer in Tennessee. An African American, he founded the Lincoln League and organized the first NAACP branch in Tennessee. His father was the successful businessman Robert Reed Church, and his half sister was the activist Mary Church Terrell.
