Robert Adrian Stringer (born 13 August 1962 in Aylesbury, England) is a record executive and CEO of Sony Music Entertainment until April 2017.
He is the younger brother of Sir Howard Stringer, who was Chairman and CEO of Sony Corporation since April 2012, when he was replaced by Kazuo Hirai. Although he is not Jewish, he was awarded the UJA-Federation of New York’s Music Visionary of the Year Award in 2013.
