Ritratto di borghesia in nero (also known as Nest of Vipers and Portrait of a Bourgeois in Black) is a 1978 Italian drama film directed by Tonino Cervi. It is based on the short story The Piano Teacher by Roger Peyrefitte.

The film is set in the Venice of the 1930s, against a background of rising fascism. A music-student, Matthias, mixes with the town's bourgeoisie and falls in love with a mature teacher, Carla, the mother of his friend Renato, and then with his young colleague, Elena. The themes include blackmail, betrayal, seduction, and eventually murder.

There is a notable sapphic scene between Senta Berger and Ornella Muti.

The film, which has an 18 rating, was released on DVD in 2012.
